We have had links with St Francis Church and The Salvation Army for many years, and continue to work closely with them. Each year, they host services for our families at Christmas, Easter and Harvest time. Rev'd Catherine from St Francis Church regularly leads worship in school. She also leads a weekly club for the Collective Worship leaders, to plan forthcoming assemblies together.
During Key Stage worship, the children join together to begin the time together.
Bishop Michael
Key Stage 2 joined a virtual worship time with Bishop Michael and 2,500 pupils join in across 20 schools in the Local Authority area.
We were previously delighted to welcome Bishop Michael to our school. He toured the school and then in the afternoon led a collective worship for KS2. He spoke to the children about one of our Christian values - Compassion and Kindness, and he was joined by some very enthusiastic helpers. After, the children had the opportunity to ask an array of questions about what it is like to be a bishop.
