School Lunches
Aspens Services:
Children know what they like and like what they know! There’s a big difference in the appetites and needs of children as they progress through primary school, so we take this into consideration with our portion sizes.
This not only cuts down on waste but also makes sure that there’s enough food and choice for everyone. We make delicious food every day that also happens to be healthy… Our chefs are very clever!
We make sure that our Food Festival menus are packed with comfort dishes and at the same time, we help pupils take their first steps with new tastes to explore. We make the most of fruit and vegetables that are in season because that’s when it tastes best, and is the most planet friendly too.
Aspens provide a full hot meal menu for our children as well as a sandwich option. Please check the menu available on select.aspens-services.com If you have not yet logged-on to the Aspen Select system, please speak with the School Office, who will be happy to provide you with details.
Please let us know if your child has any special dietary requirements so we can update our system and suit their needs accordingly. Aspens have provided information on allergens, for more information please click on this link.
The daily menu consists of one main course, a vegetarian option, jacket potatoes with fillings, hot pasta or a sandwich. There are also a range of hot and cold desserts or fresh fruit to choose from. Aspen’s also offer Special Menu days such as whole school Christmas lunch. Please book online using the log-in information provided when your child joined our school.
For Key Stage 2 children (Year 3, 4, 5 & 6) meals cost £2.45 per day. All payments must be made through Aspens.
If you have any queries about school lunches or would like your child to start, please come to the School Office where we will be happy to help.

Morning Break Snacks
The children are allowed to bring a snack to school for their morning break. All children in Key Stage 1 are provided with a piece of fruit/vegetable for their morning snack.
We welcome fruit or vegetables, but ask you not to allow your child to bring sweets, chocolate, crisps or gum. We welcome your support in this initiative to encourage your child to eat a healthy diet.
